I got this specimen without taxon. But as Araeosoma tesselatum is the only Araeosoma species, which has been namely reported from the China Sea, I think, that this taxon is correct. See also Plate XXXVII and following of Th. Mortensen, A Monograph of the Echinoidea, II .
